Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council (Mogo LALC) was incorporated under the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (ALRA). Mogo LALC has a mandate over a large geographical area that includes the villages of Mogo, Broulee & Mossy Point, Batehaven, Malua Bay, Tomakin, Captains Flat and Michelago.
The aims of the Land Council are;
- To provide the resources needed to ensure all aged members have full access to the services available.
- Meet the housing requirements of the Mogo LALC community.
- Develop employment opportunities.
- Culture & Heritage Development.
- To raise retention rates at schools.
- To review and reactivate Land Claims previously rejected and to progress claims still outstanding.

Priors Bus Service has been providing bus and coach services to the Batemans Bay region for around 60 years.
Priors Bus Service runs school bus services under contract to the Transport for NSW to all schools in Batemans Bay, Broulee, Mogo and Moruya. The services run from Nelligen, Long Beach, South Durras, North Durras and East Lynne in the north through to Moruya in the south. Priors Bus service provides weekday and Saturday/Public Holiday route 860 passenger services for Batemans Bay to Broulee and Moruya picking up Batehaven, Surf Beach and Malua Bay, as well as 861 & 857 route passenger services to Catalina, Surfside and Long Beach.
